Alex is off his puzzle craze. He has found a new hobby, or addiction. It began with him watching "Bob the Builder." Now he grabs anything that looks like it could be a hammer and starts "fixing" my house! Except, you will constantly hear me telling him to quit "breaking my house" and he says he's fixing it. Papa Thompson bought him a little tool set that he is in love with. It has a hammer, a screwdriver, a measuring tape, a board you can pound plastic nails into and screws you can screw into the board as well. Except it stays at Papa's house. I guess they have a deal that he can take one tool home and he can switch as long as he brings the other one back. Alex will also call himself "Bob the builder" except when I'm working on a project, he calls me "Mommy the builder." I guess I need to get myself a pink toolbelt so I can fill the official title more appropriately.

Kayla is such a girl. When she can get into my bathroom, she'll pull out my lotions and body sprays and pretend she's putting them on. Or she'll hold out a lotion bottle to have me put a drop of lotion on her hand. I don't know if it's a girl thing or if she likes the smell but she always asks for more. The other day she got into my new bottle of vaseline and had a heyday with it. She had vaseline all over her and all over my rug in the bathroom. It's like she just dug her hands into it. She also likes anything that's like a purse - baggies, Alex's NASCAR trick-or-treat bucket . . . and she'll walk around carrying it and make sure she puts something in it. Yes, she acts like a girl EXCEPT she hates things in her hair. She likes me to put them in but immediately she'll pull them out.
